Core layers of Interaction Carrara™ ceramic
paste opaque
(V1/B1 – V16/C4 and bleach)
These are ready-for-use, fluorescent opaques and can be applied directly to the prepared metal sub-structure. Interaction Carrara™ paste opaque ensures bonding with all of the sub-structures within the indication area and its fluorescent effect assures the ability of the restoration to vary in clarity in changing light.
value dentin
These are dentines that are ordered by level of clarity in terms of translucence and color pigmentation. These value dentines have been adapted to ensure the correct achievement of the appearance required when used in combination with the corresponding paste opaque and incisal.
The fluorescent effect of the dentines also contributes to the active interaction of the restoration with changing light conditions.
action-i dentin
(1V4/1B2, 4V8/1A2, 8V13/3B4, 13V14, 3C4)
These are strong-fluorescence dentines, ordered by color and clarity, and used to apply characteristics in the incisal part of the element (mamelons, for example) and to influence the chroma of the restoration (i=incisal, i=individual, i=intensive and i=interactive).
Transparent outer layers of Interaction Carrara™ ceramic
incisal
These are transparent incisals that are used to achieve high-quality esthetic outer layers on the fired restoration.
Thanks to consistent applicated opalising properties, the crown has a natural and esthetic appearance in changing light conditions. In this way, the crown blends in with adjacent elements in a natural manner.
x-tra incisal
(x-tra i bright, x-tra i medium, x-tra i dark)
These are opalescent and transparent materials that can be used to precisely adjust the value of a crown. For example, when the cervical area of a tooth needs to be slightly darker in color, in line with the processing instructions provided by the dentist, this can be achieved using x-tra i dark. If a crown is ‘too dark’ after the first firing, x-tra i bright makes it possible to correct this without any cut-back.
x-tra incisal
(x-tra i blue, x-tra i red, x-tra i grey, x-tra i orange, x-tra i white)
These are opalescent and transparent materials that ensure an additional color transparency in tooth surfaces. This makes it easy to individualize the incisal part of the crown.
x-tra incisal
This is a neutral, transparent, non-opalescent material.
Individualization of Interaction Carrara™ ceramic
margin
(1A2, 3A4, Booster, 1B2, 3B4, 1C2, 3C4, gum)
These are materials that are used to fire ceramic shoulders onto shoulder or chamfer preparations.
Interaction margins can also be used in situations where a very limited layer thickness requires a dentine color with better coverage.
action-i dentin
(221 - 240, for individual use)
These are special colored dentines that are used to apply characteristics to the incisal part of the element (mamelons, for example) and to influence the chroma of the restoration.
They are ready for use and can be used unmixed.
correction
This is a colorless, lower-melting, transparent correction material for the correction of contact points and occlusal or incisal edges, or for the improvement of the crown surface shape.
gumshades
(211 Violet, 212 Dark, 213 Light, 214 Translu-violet, 215 Translu-dark,
216 Translu-light, 217 Extra Translu-light, paste opaque gum)
These are materials that can be used to create high-quality and esthetic ceramic reconstructions of lost gingival material/gums. This may be necessary in the event of significant implants and supra structure works, for example.
classic stains kit
(161 Yellow, 162 Camel, 163 Ocker, 164 Red, 165 Cashmere, 166 Mocca,
167 Light Brown, 168 Chocolat, 169 Red Brown, 170 Brown, 171 White,
172 Black, 173 Grey, 174 Blue, 175 Violet Blue, 176 Violet, 177 Green,
178 Khaki, 179 Sahara, 180 Grey Dark)
The Classic Stains Kit makes it possible to achieve individualizing characteristics on the surface of a ceramic during the gloss stage. This could include placing extra emphasis on cracks or applying a final color differentiation.
Carrara Paint Kit
(Outside only Onyx ,Outside only Chalk, Outside only Plaque,
Outside only Halo, Outside only Havannah, Inside/Outside Blue,
Inside/Outside White, Inside/Outside Orange, Inside/Outside Olive,
Inside/Outside Khaki, Inside only, Grey/Violet, Inside only white,
Inside only Orange, Inside only Olive, Inside only Pink)
Using the paint it is not only possible to apply individual characteristics to the ceramic surface during the glaze firing phase, but, using the inside outside and inside only, it is also possible to apply internal characteristics such as cracks in the enamel.
This way, you can, for example, emphasise fissures or apply final color nuances.
Interaction Antagon® + Carrara™ glaze
This is a mass that can be used, where required, to increase the gloss level of a crown.
